New for 2022! For youth 15 years or older, our CIT program provides your child an opportunity to participate in our camp program by assisting our staff with the daily operations. CITs will be guiding campers during marine themed art projects, outdoor games and activities, classroom presentations, scientific exploration, lab activities, and so much more! In addition, CITs will get a “behind the scenes” experience of daily camp operations and an opportunity to work more closely with the care and maintenance of our animals and tanks. This program is designed for teenagers interested in marine science and working with younger children, and is very limited. 

Our CIT Program is limited to 2 participants each session. Participation in this program can count toward community service hours for honor society/school requirements. *It is highly recommended that the interested CIT (not the parent) contacts the Camp Director, Marisa Bottari (mb2629@cornell.edu), before applying. Interested youth must apply for acceptance into the program. All Applications for 2022 are due prior to June 1st. No fees will be charged until candidates have been accepted into the program. All CIT’s accepted into the program must attend a required orientation and training session on Thursday, July 7th.  Submitting an application does not guarantee participation in the program. Participation in the program does not guarantee future employment.  

Price: $250/session/child
